The Sorcerers Apprentice

A master sorcerer (Nicolas Cage) in modern-day Manhattan is trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis (Alfred Molina). He can't do it alone, so he recruits a seemingly average guy (Jay Baruchel) who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. Monica Bellucci is also part of the cast. Directed by Jon Turteltaub.
