You can't miss it for the big red vertical neon sign at the entrance, and even if you did you would know it for the queue outside at weekends. Inside it's a smart, high-ceilinged restaurant-bar with white walls, many mirrors and noir-ish lighting. Menu is French-Asian with a bit of 'New American' thrown in just to confuse you. The menu centers around a collection of global American small plates, meant for sharing. Look out for crab and brie quesadillas with honey chili sauce, a calamari and banana salad, and mini-burgers with blue cheese and caramelized onions. Bigger plates include seared tuna with fingerling potatoes and flank steak with mashed potatoes. But it's the drinks, live music and down-home atmosphere that's the making of the place. Cosmopolitan's and big city martinis are most popular, but now you'll find mai tais, champagne cocktails, mint juleps and mojitos. served by very cool bar staff who remember your order for next time and often even your name. It's rare to find a beautiful style bar with an attractive crowd whose heads aren't in their Prada handbags or up their Gucci suit trousers. So Felix it is. With a strong nightlife scene each night of the week this is certainly a choice venue once in the nations capitol.
